Naturally I can't recall Gen. Melchett making such a statement about Oundle. But as it's the school and not the town I'm quite relaxed about it!

Having the school woven through the fabric of the town is a double edged sword.

I can't commit to the Rockingham race (even though I'd love to be able to). Our first baby is due around that time and have been told that apparently baby comes first...
This is also why I won't be at Spa this year

This is looking good for Rockingham - what about a few of our less verbose posters? It would be great to have half a dozen cars or more.....

I can offer a convoy for our friends across the water - I am at the bottom of the M11, where it joins the M25... Unfortunately I would be in my TVR rather than anything as exotic as a Westy...

I'm afraid due to the four month hiatus in momentum for the proposed meet, er indoors nailed me for family duties that weekend, so no can do now I'm afraid...

I'm hoping to be out for the Silverstone meeting in August and also trying to twist allymallys arm into entering that one too so maybe arrange a meeting for then?

I've missed the August roster request deadline, but there are never any guarantees anyway. Could try for August if it gets more people together. Or we could just go to Splat's house and rag his 4x4.

Here's another option - there is another track day at Hullavington on Fri 12th July. I wasn't planning on attending this one as I haven't budgeted for it, but it is nearer for quite a few of us and is a well-run day out. As it's next door to me, I can provide engineering support etc and even a BBQ lunch. Just a suggestion, though. Rockingham on 14th is still in my diary. What do you think, folks?
