Now you're talking. Lagavulin and Ardbeg consistently top the exchange-rate tables, chez Splat. ;) ;) ;)

So 2016 it is - couple of questions from an ex Elise S1 owner
1- where do you put all the kit needed
2. How bad is it for driving long distances - I never used roof on s1 so can do 'open' motoring
3. It was scary enough at times on motorway in that it must be even more scary in an eleven
4 . Where do you park it overnight in uk as cannot imagine making ferry and le man in one stint
5. Just a few tips please

1, Mine has an ally bin in the rear. Will hold a sleeping bag, a one-man tent and a small duffle bag. Then there's the footwell. And finally, we're all going to hum a bit on the way home.

2, Poor to awful. Wear ear plugs. An Elise is luxury. For a start it has a screen. When it rains, the eleven is like sitting , fully clothed, in the bath with a cold shower aimed at your crotch. :o

3, Close your eyes. What you can't see can't hurt you. Joking aside, it's never been a problem.

4, Anybody going via Portsmouth is welcome to overnight here, about 40 mins from the ferry........

I was planning something like Tues to Mon at CLM14. That's to arrive at the circuit in the first wave to secure a decent pitch etc. The route down was intended to avoid the Autoroutes and take n some scenery. Fuel stops would need to be carefully planned, though!

Getting the Register recognised would be possible on first glance. I think we'd need to "officialise" ourselves, though - Secretary etc etc
