After an intense afternoon of fettling (resulting in the installation of a radiator fan switch that's too hot but at least works!) my car will be on the carriage circle in front of Goodwood House tomorrow. Firstly, the Breakfast Club theme is Thoroughbred Sunday at the circuit from 8 till noon. Then the GRRC members and guests open day at the house is from noon till 5pm (smart casual). Selected cars (and ratty old Westies) display before the house by invitation. Hope I might see some of you there.
(Sorry I didn't get back to you, Jon. It all became a bit mad when I got home at lunchtime to find that the fan had packed up when Neil Slark brought it back over to mine yesterday. The invite includes lunch in the ballroom for the displayed car's owner and guest, but you couldn't have made it as the cars stay outside the house until 5pm! Next time.......)

Nice to be mentioned here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1431986
And there's a very nice photo of my car (much better than my snaps) here: http://grrc.goodwood.com/grrc/about-the ... en-day#/19
Excitingly, I sat next to Paul, the owner of the 8C (http://grrc.goodwood.com/grrc/about-the ... en-day#/25), at lunch. Retired and in his late 60s, we managed to do the whole lunch without talking cars! He flew the Chippy with Aberdeen University Air Squadron and houses his extensive car collection in the agricultural buildings around his home. Which just happens to be about two miles from me! We've agreed to spend a day in the near future sampling each other's toys.

Missed that post. If you need a "chap" to drive, carry bags etc, drop me a line. I've got a new work hat now!
