Hi Daggers
Great news now the fun really begins, I'm getting close to having mine finished now and have really enjoyed it. If you have any questions feel free to PM me I'm far from an expert but its all still fresh in my mind!!!!! Loads of great resources on here and tons of knowledge that certainly helped me along the way, so post away your questions.
Just updated my build blog which may be of interest: http://www.dogs-agility.com/westy_11_page.htm

Hi Si,
I have been following your build from day one with great interest.
It's taken me nine years to place an order for the XI so as you can guess I can't wait to start. I'm sure I will take you up on the offer of help in the future. Although I have restored several old cars this is exciting new experience for me.

Why not 2015?
It's not that hard to build, especially if you prep the donor parts prior to the arrival of the kit. If you don't do anything silly, like build a custom radiator and duct,, or hand fabricate your own exhaust. In other words, if you don't go outside the garage for outside fabrication, the car goest together very quickly.
Have Fun!

Re: Into the breach
It's not the difficulty of the build it's your life that gets in the way work house moves etc I have a build which I am updating on face book westfield eleven the build a complete guide maybe not the best title as I have very little experience I have been going nearly a year and to be honest nothing has been massively difficult but I am now just installing electrics so once complete it's the engine and interior I never set a target but would like to think it will be on road for next summer
The Le Mans classic 2016 is real target and the more cars that can get there the better and I have sort of nominated my self to organise a bit with help tips from people who have been
So welcome to a very exclusive and frustrating at times band of owners

Hi Mark
Life is definitely the stumbler for me and moving house is a massive pain in the back side but the call of the build always gives light at the end of the tunnel.
Could you give me a link to the Facebook page as I would love to see how your getting on.
Cheers Si
