Updated with OSA addendum by Jon Clancy on 16 Mar 25

Apologies for this, but I believe it is considered prudent to publish the rules and regulations for public forums on the internet to avoid potential problems later.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

By accessing “westfield-eleven.org” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “http://www.westfield-eleven.org/forum”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “westfield-eleven.org”. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our utmost in informing you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of “westfield-eleven.org” after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where the westfield-eleven.org forum is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “westfield-eleven.org” have the right to remove, edit, move, close or put on moderation queue any topic at any time should we see fit based on the site wide rules as well as forum specific rules (published within the specific forums). Please note that currently any very first post is automatically placed in the moderation queue and will be approved/disapproved according to the site wide rules.

*To implement "ICU G1 Terms of service: substance (all services)" we have added the following section to Forum Rules.*

Handling Illegal Content
———————————————

The Administrator and Moderation team treats illegal content with the utmost gravity. When made aware of the presence of illegal content, through phpBB’s post reporting features, or through our contact email address - admin@westfield-eleven.org - we will take this down at the earliest opportunity.

The Westfield Eleven Register does not use *proactive technology* to detect illegal content.

We include specific provisions for the following types of content.

Terrorism Content
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The type of content defined under `Online Safety Act 2023, Schedule 5 <https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/20 ... /5/enacted>` will be taken down immediately, and will result in immediate and permanent revocation of access to the service. Where possible, the offending account will also be reported to law enforcement.
CSEA Content
~~~~~~~~~~~~

The type of content defined under `Online Safety Act 2023, Schedule 6 <https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/20 ... /6/enacted>` will be taken down immediately, and will result in immediate and permanent revocation of access to the service. Where possible, the offending account will also be reported to law enforcement.

Priority Illegal Content
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~—
The type of content defined under `Online Safety Act 2023, Schedule 7 <https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/20 ... /7/enacted>` will be taken down immediately, and will result in immediate and permanent revocation of access to the service. Where possible, the offending account will also be reported to law enforcement.
Complaints and Appeals
——————————————
Complaints about content should preferably be reported by email directly to admin@westfield-eleven.org rather than through the phpBB reporting features. This will get a quicker response. The emails will be preserved to create an audit trail.
To appeal moderation actions you may contact us at admin@westfield-eleven.org.
The decision made by the Administrator and Moderators is final. It is a privilege to use this service, and not a right.
