Diary permitting, I would be pleased to join up. It might be possible to arrange a display of Elevens outside the Kentagon at Brands for an appropriate meeting, the only problem would be its rather southern based!

The 45min races look appealing so may try and get to those ones, i'll keep you posted on what i decide to go for.

How about Rockingham 750 Motor Club meet on July 14? That's pretty central - Corby in the Midlands (or as it's known to those West Country dwellers Splat and JC (Clancy not Christ) the Frozen North )

I went to school in Uppingham. About 8 miles away. One night in the winter of '86/'87 we hit -18C. There was ice on the inside of our dorm windows. So yes, it is!

As a Yorkshireman now living just the other side of Corby (Oundle) I can assure you we are not the frozen North!

Rockingham is very handy. That will be the first 750MC event there since I've been racing. Shan't bother with the trailer for that one!

To paraphrase General Melchett (Stephen Fry, Old Uppinghamian), "That's right! Oundle is an absolute dump." (Well, after Oakham they were our nearest rivals.)

107 miles and 3 hours. Up the Fosse Way, across the M1 and in. Some nice driving roads on the way.

Potential for a convoy with Splat. And I'll clearly be inviting Mooch - either as co-driver or wing-man.
