Keep the knowledge that this site is mostly populated by Brits in the back of your mind when posting. We thrive on sarcasm and live with the certainty that you Yanks have absolutely no sense of irony ;)

Nice work. But wouldn't it be working out cheaper to have bought a genuine Eleven

Hi gbilawsky ;) No don't stop posting! It goes a bit quiet on here. :)
Your workmanship look great, it is just the fact that over there in US you seem to spend as much money as physically possible when building. Over here I would think most Westfield's are built for as little as possible! There are some fine exceptions to the rule though.
A lot of time and money! why not build a puka replica? :)

Buy a genuine 11? Would love one, but not at current prices! You guys are over-estimating the cost to do all of this. I will still have less total money in this car than the cost to replicate this exact same car new from scratch. I considered having a puka replica built, but time and cost killed that idea, because I would have to pay someone else to do it due to my metalworking talent deficit. I'm at the age where each year counts...didn't want to give one up waiting to drive one of these.

When I saw these prices, that killed any hope of a real one. "Reasonably priced" elevens in fair condition are fetching low to mid $100s and climbing, which is 2.5 to 3 times the cost of my venture. These two below are off the charts.....
