Re: Thoughts on a New Build?

I must agree with LA 11 on the quality, I'm building one right now in the UK and am no expert by any stretch but started to find it a lovely surprise when something fitted first time without interfering with something else or without requiring re-designing. The counter sunk rivets that hold the doors on look like they have been initially drilled and then drilled again with a larger drill bit to get a sort of counter sunk appearance. Look under the doors where they have drilled the pod and yes it lines up now but apparently it took them 3 attempts looking at the array of holes!!!! (My grandad taught me the "measure twice cut once" technique which I find works best)
However building this car is the best fun you can have with your trousers on and if you get a good contact and are patient with Westfield then it is fine. I am however a mere Englishman so if they annoy me to much I can drive over and put my head in the door!!!
Cheers Si
