I haven’t tried the bonnet on yet, but based on previous threads I’m not expecting any problems.

I’ve just taken the AB off as I don’t want to have it fitted when the car going for its IVA test, but I with add the grease points while it’s on the bench.

The tires will fit if they are precisely 24" in diameter, but no larger (certainly not 24.5"). Check your tire measurements with the factory diameter before you fit them.
Typical problems are interference with the alloy body section aft of the tires at full lock or when the car is raised on jacks, and rubbing inside the body work.

I the rear, you will have to cut away beneath the bodywork to clear the larger 5.00X15 tires. This is not difficult, nor is it visible as the cut is on the underside of the rear body section aft of the tires.

The wheels should be good to go as they are 22.5" dia.

The wiring under the scuttle is complete and scuttle trial fitted.

Hi,

I can't see from the photo if you have a specific earth from the fuel tank to the chassis. When I presented my car for IVA, I was asked if I had and, as I had taken advice from one of the forums, I was not found wanting!

A wire soldered to a Jubilee Clip, clamped around the vent outlet and then run to a rivnut in the dash rail adjacent.

No photos at the moment but work is progressing....

I decided to fit the lights as they would be without the light-pods. The reason behind this is I want the car to look good after the IVA.
I had to remove all of the bowl to before the headlight fitting would fit into the bonnet. I was also surprised the perspex covers needed so much fettling before they would fit the recess. I'm waiting for delivery of some aluminium rivnuts so I can fit the pods into the fittings I'm using for the plexi covers.

Finished work for day, I'll try for photos for the next update.

I took the same approach as you, fitting the standard covers and then the pods. The standard covers did take a fair amount of fettling, I got one hole drilled and bolted and used it as a datum. With so much material to removed I ended up using an angle grinder with a flat flap wheel. On one of the top holes I couldn’t get a hole and bolt in on the pods so went through the IVA with only 3 bolts at the light end and a single bolt through the tip of pod and wing (required gelcoat repair post IVA)
