Well i thiught I was making headway, but.... filled the motor with oil and cranked over to check oil pressure and what do i find ? a hole in the sump pan :?

But we get a chance to look at the guts of the motor...

sump repaired and refitted, also changed filter head to the spin-on type.

After the sump repair I refilled with oil and used the starter to see if the motor made oil pressure and this is the result... doesn't seems to bad.

Are the switches in themselves as shown IVA compatible ?

I believe they are. The layout is straight from the factory and the switches will be covered by the steering wheel.

I did think that they might be shielded by the steering wheel , as this is the case things should be fine then .
