Whether I'm in the XI or not depends upon whether it's back together in time. I've stripped off the blower for the moment but I snapped a rocker stud when putting it all back together. DOH! I now have a new stud, but no time...

Anyway, I should see you one way or another, provided you make it to Sunday!

Eric, Rockingham is not going to work for me this time. I decided to drive back home this morning, after 2 meetings for today were cancelled. Next opportunity I'll let you know. Enjoy the races, the weather is perfect!

Not a good day for me - looks like my hub is lunched and the car is on blocks currently. Unless I can magic up a new hub in the next 15 hours, and get it fitted, I'm afraid I am not going to make Rocky, or indeed anywhere else for that matter. Details in the other thread and I'll bung some pics up to my Photobucket to illustrate.

If I hadn't been finishing the week from hell (large bird-of-prey through the radome ex-MXP on Wednesday; 17 mins in the BIG hold, then LHR closes, because of the Firebird, as we're down-wind 09L, div to LGW and landed with final reserve +80kg on Friday; RTO following the failure of the avionics vents to close on the first sector yesterday, Saturday; landing into MUC on the third sector yesterday, 2mins before the 2230Z night jet-ban, 1hr15min for a sector that the flight plan calculated at 1hr29min ; FADEC failure leading to operation in N1 mode on the second of three sectors today), I'd have read your post and offered you one of my 2 spares.
