Tempting isnt it? But so much work involved to get right. These guys prices actually look quite reasonable considering how much money you can pour into an a-series.

As someone has told the seller, it would still be a 1020cc pump engine. It does however have the FWB type block that will accept the larger liners to take it to either FWE or FWB sizes. And as Ben stated, it does take a lot of money to transform one of these to automotive spec, and even more to get into race spec (ask me how i know ). And I highly reccomend dealing with Glyn at the link Ben provided, he helped me with mine (Mike Brotherwood also provided the same level of service and was just as easy to deal with.)

Blimey, not seen one go for anything like that before! Always helps to end an auction on a saturday night i find- attracts the bidders that are fueled up on a few glasses of wine..... Ive been there as both a seller and buyer....

Actually, I've no idea. I just felt that this forum is missing some of the ire and bickering that is so enjoyed by the members of some other places
