Jack paid me a " Flying Visit " (Pun intended) on Tuesday 25th Feb during one of his trips around the UK , however it was literaly a flying visit and we didn't even get as far as the garage before he was away . I believe he had aother visit planned for Wednesday on his way South to The Shuttle . He appears to be gathering items to build an Eleven and I wish him luck with the project . A very personable and affable chap ! !

hi Bob,
I think you start to see a pattern in the things don't you?
You are right, I am actually collecting stuff, and this time I bought a BMC A series 1098cc, heavily tuned to 70bph!! It will have the Oselli manifold put on, together with the 40DCOE, which I cleaned and repaired.
On my way to the South I visited Charles for a Nene Valley beer and a chat, and I went to see Matthew and his car. We had a in-depth discussion on his car and then it was decided to have a spin in it. Good fun!
Maybe AllyMally can find some time this summer to work on a chassis and bodywork for me, despite him being busy with a lot of projects. Rather than building a Westfield I plan to follow Ben's path and build a Lotus look-a-like. But then again, if I run into a nice Westfield project I might as well divert.

JACK , if the ford type 9 conversion kit turns up next Friday 8th of march as "PROMISED" by Westfield and after a shakedown period I will probably have a good ribcase gearbox plus both clutch plates and a Peter Mays clutch roller release bearing conversion and propshaft available , also a 3.7 differential to go with the five newly blasted and bright silver powder coated 13" wire wheels and newish tyres you have already seen . all to add to your colection for the build . I'm only trying to temp you , keep in touch . BOB

Hi Jack,
I might have some parts too. I have a (used but good) midget radiator with a fitting Kenlowe fan.
Some new clutchparts too.

Hi Jack,
If the 1098 flywheel has a different PCD to the 1275,then I may have an original lightweight aluminium flywheel hanging on my garage wall.

I"ll get a van AND a trailer just to be sure.
Many thanks for your kind efforts. These will all be rewarded one way or another.
Matthew: The thing I don't get: what is a PCD? And is this PCD different for a 1098 than for a 1275? Alu flywheel sounds good, so yes Matthew, I appreciate your offer.

JACK , PCD is an abbreviation of " Pitch Circle Diameter " thus if you want 6 holes at 100 mm PCD you scribe a circle 50 mm radius
( 100 mm diameter) and then using the dividers ( Compasses ) set to the 50 mm radius you can step round the circle to give six equaly spaced holes . BOB
