And I mean REALLY brave? This failed to sell on Sunday with a much higher starting price. WAY beyond my skills.....

Ah! The original, higher price was for the complete body. But the rear was in even worse condition than the front! So, come on. Which one of you mad men thought, "I can tackle that!"?
So, who's feeling brave?

Yeah also wondered that. Asked allymally whether anything could be done with it.... Basically beyond economic repair could almost get a new one made for the price of sorting it out. Im sure malc will be on here later to agree.
Mike brotherwood has another front/rear that may be a better bet on his website but the shape looks odd:

Re: So, who's feeling brave?
Hi all, IMHO Both of these body sets are sad!
best bet, is to buy the first set, ship of the USA with a few other bits then get it shipped back as an original Lotus eleven! get a new body and chassis made "hey presto!"
I must be getting old and cynical.
the second body set is not a very nice shape especially the front end.
I'm glad to see this on the forum as its been very quiet for to long. Please give us some updates on your builds chaps
All the very best.
