We all keep saying we must get together so I have a suggestion. Our very own Erictharg will be racing at Mallory Park on 17th October, so it would be great to all go and support him and get all the XI's in one place at the same time to beat the record which stands at 4 I believe.
The racing should be good as well. We went last autumn and it was great to watch, especially the Austin 7 Specials one of which blew up directly infront of us.
Anyone interested/available?

I'll go as an interloper.
(Not that will increase the number of XI's at all!) :-\

David Lentell OK too as long as he's not on call (Computer network "doctor"). I'll PM Mark Blunt and Brian House if we don't hear from them in the next few days. Long Johns and woolly hats probably needed...

The day is gettig closer. Do we want to meet up en route? If so where?
I'm in Huntingdon and my car is currently working (sounds a bit Elevens Anonymous), but we may end up taking 2 cars as the whole family want to go.
I'm hoping that the weather is getting all the rain out the way now ready for a glorious sunny autumn day, we only need 1! (2 for a dry quali). =))

Eric T and his sidekick "Oz" Belford will be departing Oundle v. early (0700) to get here in time for all the standing around that is motor racing. Eric asks Mr. Best to get his arse in gear to fix the known problems with his car. At least the timing case oil seal. Or Eric may refuse to drive the car at all.
Mr. Best assures Eric the car will be good to go.
So, hoping for good weather and love to see y'all there.
As soon as I get the schedule I'll let everyone know when practice and the race are.
I'm debating if I should change the oil. It had fresh for Silverstone so only ran for 100 miles on the road plus 30 mins practice and racing. At £28 for 5 litre of Vavoline VR1 I'm thinking it will be good for another race...
